De Hollandia... a peppered history Kunstbakens, Appeltern Installation measuring 8 mtr L x 2 mtr br x 1.20 mtr H and 8 2-dimenstional works in mixed media (two laying in the wreck and one in de goot). The ship wreck is built from Oak from the old roofing tiles from the Stalgebeouw on the Heerlijkheid estate in Appeltern. De 'Hollandia' is the name of the VOC ship from 1619 that sunk on the coast of Lombok, Indonesia in 1642. | ||||||
